First off, my heart and prayers go out to the families and the community affected by the horrible tragedy in Connecticut. Words do not begin to express how much sorrow I feel for them. May God bring them peace.
Now on to the reason for my post tonight. It never ceases to amaze me how ignorant people are when it comes to shootings. It wasn't even 36 hours after this tragedy and I've already heard of people saying that if there were stricter gun laws or a gun ban in place this wouldn't have happened. Are you kidding me!?! How exactly does that make sense? All that does is restrict the law abiding citizens, you know the guys that would actually be able to stop these things from happening. I have always and will forever be pro carry. I will forever support any school or teacher that wants to carry to school. One day when I have kids I hope that their teachers are some ignorant liberal that thinks the world runs on hopes and dreams. I hope they have teachers that will teach them that in order for evil doers to be defeated there must be good people to stand up to them.
There will always be evil in the world, the question is, what are you doing to fight it? I prepare myself for the day that my god will call on me to protect my loved ones and the people around me, I pray the doesn't come, but still I prepare. Are you prepared?
